I imported my snippets from Codebox and the app crashed after that. After the crash, every time I open SnippetsLab, the app crashes I need to reopen it. When I reopen the app, it crashes again so I am not able to use the app. It seems that the snippets were imported, however for some reason the app is crashing every time I try to open the app.

I just bought the app and have been playing around with for few days…I liked the interface, it’s simple and and easy to follow…I have one request though, could you add R to the languages you support? That would be great if you could add that with your next update

A perfect app for keeping bits of code I use often. It’s simple to use and lets me organize things in the way that works best for me. As a developer I’ll see myself getting a lot of use out of this nearly every day, well worth the price. Support was quick to respond and gave thorough, helpful replies. Awesome app!

This app is great and the UI is beautiful. Searching snippets is easy and the folders are an excellent touch. I agree with another reviewer that being able to tag snippets with a language would be a nice feature for a future release, but for now I’m just grouping folders by language to get around that. Definitely one of my most used apps now.

The search feature only searches the title of your snippets. There should be an option to search the contents as well.

Needs better snippet completion - more like dash. Also syncing with dash will make this a more favorable editor and actually useful to me. Please don’t make me use the mouse - I keep it far away on purpose because it slows me down. Need more keyboard shortcuts all around. I do enjoy the interface and the fact that you support SpaceGray theme which is one of my favorite coding themes. Maybe you can open a github for issue reporting.

Was enjoying this app until I opened it today and all my code snippets and folders were gone. I had iCloud syncing enabled but did not make any changes to my iCloud Drive. Very disappointmenting as I had code snippets in there that I had not had elsewhere.

This is a great app and has a lot of future to it but it’s missing a lot of larnguages. I am a front end web developer and this doesn’t have CSS or HTML.. So could you guys please add that into this guy please! Thank you. For everyone else. This app is a much for all developers!

The app is wonderful to use and definitely has a beautiful interface. I would like to see an improved snippet preview from the menu bar, if that’s possible. Also, the ability to use tags would be nice. Just responding to Stutterbox16: the program *does* have support for HTML and CSS, just go into preferences and enable them under the ‘Languages’ section! This little detail is awesome because I don’t want to have to scroll through a long list of languages (most of which I will not use) whenever I want to select the language for the snippet I am writing. Instead I only get a short list of the languages that I *do* use. A small time-saver, but pretty cool in my book!

Wanted to use this application to keep track of my iOS protocols and snippets, does not support the swift programming language :/ other than that, a beautiful app.

Was excited to purchase this app, and it is relatively cool for javascript, but has no options for html, css, ruby, etc. Categorization needs lotso of work. My biggest gripe is that all my snippets have disappeared after upadting! Not much use for this app if I can’t reliably use it. :/

I like the text color of the Dusk theme, but I prefer the background color of Tomorrow Night. btw, the ability to nest folders is awesome. also, it would be nice to sync using Dropbox, icloud is not very reliable I think. ---------------- UPDATE ----------------- I lost all my codes too. Maybe it’s not the developer’s fault, but I will never use any app sync using iCloud any more.

Great application. Use on a regular basis. Adding tags would make this software even better

Awesome app. Great idea. I use it almost every day. One of my complaints is when I paste code it automatically selects RichText as an option. I don’t paste rich text inside an app designed to save code ever. Second, unless you are in the actual app the code is not formatted in any way. Like there aren’t colors, etc. Its just black text. So extending the color coded formatting over the whole app, even the status bar functionality would be great. Those are both simple improvements I highly recommend this app to anyone who codes. I’m not longer opening former apps to find a piece of code I invented/found

New update included the 2 big things this app was missing (dropbox and monokai theme), now its awesome, great to see the devs listneing to what the users want and updating so quickly.

Great Tool! One major feature missing is to the ability to add category tags to a code snip… Folder is too one dimentional. Its often you need to call up solution in one laguage under a category. Please add the ability to associate a snippet with multiple tags. User should be able to search base on the tags. Also please think about providing often-used (best-practise) programming patterns as snippets (this can be a $$$ add-on).

I recently downloaded this and I’m fairly new to programming, but I wanted something exactly like this - I could take notes on little bits of code. So far it’s working like a dream. It seems like the new updates that the developer added are really an improvement too. Has all the functionality I need, but definiteliy still maintains a clean intuitive UI. Props!

I think this would be a perfect code sync software if the iCloud sync really works.

I used GistBox before which was connected to my github gists, but it still took a few steps to check a snippet. Having toolbar access to snippets is perfect. Very beautiful interface with lots of themes for your preference. It would be awesome to see Gist integration in a future release. *EDIT - August 31, 2015 I can tell you guys work super hard on this. There have been tons of huge updates and improvements to the application since my initial purchase. Keep it up!
